Training on ‘Farm Journalism’

A two-day training program on “Farm Journalism and Production of Mass-media resources” was organized by State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) on April 25 and 25.


In a press release Director SAMETI & Principal IETC Medziphema informed that during the course of the training SAS: NU, Department of Agricultural Extension Education, Associate Professor, Dr. Mary N Odyuo, Department of Information Technology & Communication, Nagaland, Kohima, Technical Assistant, Er. Nieketouzo Thorie, Department of Information Technology & Communication Nagaland, Kohima, Assistant Program Officer, Er. Kumughato G, covered topics on Impact of Mass Media in Agriculture, Farm Journalism and Production of Mass Media Resources.


The valedictory program was chaired by SAMETI Deputy Project Director, Janet Chishi, feedback on the training was given by all the participants and certificates were distributed to the trainees by director SAMETI and principal IETC, Dr. Watimongla Jamir. Vote of thanks was delivered by SAMETI DPD, Yezaho Swu.
