A three-day training on “Introduction to Christian counseling” was conducted by the Insight Institute of Christian Counseling (IICC), 6th Mile Sovima on August 8-10.
A press release by IICC stated that during the training, resource persons, founders of IICC, Dr. Yehoto Swu Kiho and Dr. Nighatoli P. Achumi imparted self-awareness and personal development, basic counseling skills, integrating Christian and secular counseling, skills for identifying clients’ issues, and referral skills.
IICC said the training was specifically designed for church ministry leaders, and attended by 13 trainees from different churches, including pastors, women pastors, youth pastors, and children’s ministry workers.
