Training on kitchen waste management

One day training on kitchen waste management was conducted by Pro Rural, Dimapur for Chumukedima Village Baptist Church Women department on August 20 at Chumukedima Village Baptist Thenuko Krotho (CVBTK).
At the training, the trainees were sensitized and trained on kitchen waste management to address the garbage issue in and round Dimapur. Pro Rural also designed a set of kitchen waste management compost bucket using indigenous  met hod.   Both theory and practical demonstration on kitchen waste compost bucket were taught.  The resource persons were Athilu Khrasi, L. Kamo, Kikrupanuo Hama from Pro Rural and Legal Counsel, Mediator & Conciliator Tanu Mehta from Mumbai.
