Training on ‘Line Array Deployment and Digital Console’

DIMAPUR

A two-day training programme on Line Array Deployment and Digital Console Application was held at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on June 30 to July 1.
Speaking at the introductory session, director of IPR, Dzüvinuo Theünuo, highlighted the department’s ongoing efforts to upgrade its technical equipment, which will be managed by trained staff in the future. She encouraged the participants to keep an open mind and make the most of the opportunity to learn from the experts.
Theünuo stated that well-trained and well-equipped employees are crucial for departmental growth, and urged trainees to actively engage in the sessions. She also acknowledged the support of the resource persons and encouraged full participation.
Resource person and audio engineer, Atsunglir Jamir, proprietor of Audio Garage, thanked the department and participants for their support. He noted that significant advancements have taken place in the field of audiography and that this training would cover key concepts such as sound control, audio correction, and digital mixing.
The training focuses on Line Array systems—vertically arranged speaker units used for sound reinforcement—and Digital Console Applications, which are vital tools in studios, broadcasting, and live sound production.
