Training on nutritional growth monitoring

Training on nutritional growth monitoring was held at District Hospital (DH) conference hall, Mon on November 2. 

In a press release, NHM, Mon media officer Leevan Chemshy informed that resource person, Dr Penjei MO Shangnyu PHC gave detailed presentation on the overview of the training.

He spoke about the definition of the purpose, aims, importance of growth monitoring, assessment of physical growth, growth chart, schedule, role of AWW and nutritional programme in India.

Meanwhile, the district review meeting was also conducted on the same day where block programme managers (BPMs) presented their second quarter service delivery data through PowerPoint presentations.

Each block laid down the monthly performance of their respective health unit on ANC, deliveries, OPD/IPD and immunisation.

The programme was attended by deputy chief medical officer (CMO), senior medical officers, medical officers, district programme manager, block programme managers, district community mobiliser and ASHA coordinators.
