Under the aegis of National Health Mission (NHM) the Kohima District Oral Health Programme team conducted training for Government High School (GHS) Teachers at Forest colony on September 22, 2023.
A press release from Chief Medical Officer, Kohima Dr. Tumchobeni stated that presentation on Oral health and hygiene was highlighted by Dr. Noyingbeni Khuvung while Oral Diseases power-point presentation was done with elaboration by Dr. Mhonsenli Yanthan.
A demonstration on tooth brushing technique and brief summary on Tobacco and its ill effects was presented by District Oral Health officer under National Oral Health Programme, Dr. I. Simon Sumi. IEC materials, toothbrush, toothpaste were also distributed during the programme.
