State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) organized two-day training programme on “Soil Health Management and Soil Health Card in Agriculture” on February 4 and 5.
A press release by SAMETI informed that Assistant Professor, Department of Soil Science, NU:SAS, Medziphema Campus, Dr Sentimenla, and Lecturer, IETC Medziphema,
Department of Agriculture, Dr Vizokhonyu Yhome, in the training emphasized on soil health & fertility management and importance of bio-fertilizer. The participants were taken for field visit to Soil & Water Conservation Training Institute, Zubza.
The release informed that valedictory programme was chaired by DPD SAMETI, Janet Chishi, and a total of 25 ATMA functionaries attended the training.
