Training on women empowerment in Layshi

A five day long training program, “2nd Holistic Women Empowerment Training” was successfully conducted by women department of Layshi Town from September 25 to 29 at Layshi Town. The resource persons for the training were Daw Nila, Daw Ninwe and Daw Roseline from Yangon.  At the training, the resource persons encouraged the womenfolk to wake up and compete with other societies for the betterment and upliftment of the people, and the society in general.

The resources persons also dwelt on the subject of ‘gossip’ which they said was detrimental to society. Instead they encouraged discussions on God’s goodness, and standing up to rise to do good so that everyone may be blessed.

Women director, Bi. Khüvtsühshei (Sisiwin) of Layshi town, on behalf of the women, expressed sincere gratitude to the speakers.

The department acknowledged its gratitude to everyone who donated for the training and further prayed that God continue to bless everyone as the department testifies about God’s unceasing providence.
