Five-day ‘Transformation Crusade’ held under the theme “Arise and shine” (Isaiah 60:1) at Chozuba town local ground concluded on Sunday.
In his message, senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church and principal, Kohima Bible College, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, spoke on the need of disciples in church. He asserted that the churches of Nagaland were dying because of the lack of discipleship.
Citing the ministry of Jesus with His disciples, Rev. Zotuo urged the citizens of Chozuba that if their mission for the gospel arose, the tribe should also rise along. He also exhorted the congregation to stand firmer in faith in Christ in the last days.
Earlier, the service was led by Phuhgi Baptist Church Pastor, Khatsoyi, Bible reading by Pastor Cekhwüneyi and offertory prayer by Pastor Rikhuba, Sosüyi. Special praises were also presented by Müzivoyi and friends, stewards Chozuba village BC, crusade counselor and praise and worship teams.
Misha Hills from America who was fasting at Koinonia prayer centre for 40days testified of her faith in the service of the Lord.
Braving the sudden downpour, the last day witnessed thousands of people gathered to attend the service while the “Transformation Crusade” praise team with leader Avi Yongo led hundreds of young hearts into worship.
