Hundreds of people responded to the altar call and received God’s blessings while many received healing from various sicknesses and testified at the Transformation Crusade at local ground, Kohima, Monday.
On the 6th day of the crusade, Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), general secretary, Rev. Zelhou Keyho urged the congregation to stop listening to the voice of the world but to the voice of the Holy Spirit with open their hearts. He reminded the people that the need of transforming our lives by establishing healthy relation with God.
“God can transform our lives and until we get transformed and establish a relationship with God, Christianity becomes a mere religion”, he added.
He told the believers that transformation was not about adapting to western/eastern culture, but listening to the voice of Holy Spirit.
He further said that the work of the Holy Spirit does not come automatically but with willingness, surrendering and letting it to control us completely. “You must not just ‘feel’ but ‘filled’ with the Holy Spirit”, he said.
Earlier, the service was led by asst. pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church, Neibalie Kiewhuo with Zhavituo as the pianist and Rüvene as conductor. Praise and worship in the evening was led by Transformation worship team.
On Tuesday, session on special counselling for alcoholics would be held at the Shekinah Tent, local ground Kohima, 2p.m with Sungkum Jamir as speaker.
