In view of the indefinite bandh called by various NGOs of Assam starting 6 am on Saturday (March 5), travellers have been advised to avoid taking Marani via New Sonowal to Mokokchung. The information was made known in an official notification issued by ADC Mangkolemba, Imtiwapang Aier, stated DIPR report. The bandh has been called due to non fulfillment of the assurances by Border Road Organisation (BRO) in improving the dilapidated road conditions in that area.
