Treasuries & Accounts launches Aadhaar BAS

 An Aadhaar based Biometric Attendance System (BAS) was formally launched at the directorate of Treasuries and Accounts in Kohima on November 1 by principal director, Treasuries and Accounts department, K.V. Tiayanger Tzudir.

According to DIPR, Tzudir, in his maiden official interaction with the officers and staff of the directorate, said Treasuries and Accounts was a prestigious department that people looked up to. He encouraged the department to maintain a higher standard by following the rules and regulations that the government issues from time to time in addition to maintenance of financial discipline in the State. 

He emphasized that the office timing was from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm both for winter and summer and requested the officers and staff to follow the Biometric Attendance System strictly and set an example for other departments to follow.
