
A two-day training on Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance (WQMS) for Field Testing Kits (FTK) was organised by District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Tuensang on October 3 and October 5 at Chungliyimti Village and District Water Quality Testing Laboratory PHED Tuensang respectively.
A press release from PHED Tuensang informed that the main objectives of the FTK training was to achieve the jal jeevan mission objectives on community base participation on the WQMS system at the village level.
The release also informed the WQMS training was aimed at letting the FTK users test the water sample by themselves, to know the quality of the water and to upload it in the WQMIS from their respective villages.
