Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Peren organised a two-day programme on backyard poultry production, December 13 and 15 at Mhainamtshi village.
During the programme, SMS (A/Sc) and training coordinator, Dr. L. Babita Devi highlighted the importance of using improved poultry germplasm in backyard condition for sustainable livelihood and income generation.
Altogether, 28 farmers including seven farm women attended the training programme.
As a part of the training, expert –farmer interaction /group discussion and hands on training on vaccine and medicine delivery in poultry was also conducted.
