Tribes come together at ‘Cultural Mosiac’ 2023

All Naga tribes came together and showcased culture and traditions at the “Cultural Mosiac” 2023 organised by department of Tribal Affairs at NSF Solitary Park Kohima on Wednesday.
The event was graced by advisor of Agricultural Mhathung Yanthan as special guest.


He described the event as an opportunity for all tribal cultural groups to unite, display their talents, and foster understanding. Describing the rich culture and tradition as a source of pride, which has gained global recognition, Yanthan said it was important for everyone to take pride in the heritage inherited from the ancestors. He also called for preservation and promotion of culture.


Yanthan also asserted that the rich culture and popularity of the Naga people were evident from events like the Hornbill festival. He further reminded every Nagas to take pride of their culture and traditions and promote them to others. Pauloi and Angap Ngapgang also made special appearance. Vote of thanks was delivered by director, Tribal Affairs I. Sino Phom.
