With great pain and gratitude to our beloved Sir P. Atuo Mezhilr Sekhose, who passed away on 13th June 2025, then Administrator of Kohima English School (KES) now Mezhiir Higher Secondary School, Kohima, we, the students of Kohima English School (KES) remembers and fondly recollects the love and affection he had on all of us. We belong to the 1985 matric batch in this prestigious school.
He was a great personality, an academician, a sports lover and a kind-hearted human-being who never differentiated his teachers, students and staffs irrespective of our religion, castes, tribes and distinct backgrounds. He treated us as equals in every field.
I am accompanied by all my classmates in remembering his kind and loving memory till the end of times. We, the students of Kohima English School and Mezhiir Higher Secondary School, pay our highest respect to the man who gave us education, civic-sense and a sense of responsibility to the society and the upliftment of society to greater heights which is beyond our thinking and imagination. His humanity and kindness towards the poor and the down-trodden will always be remembered and the Almighty God shall remember him for all the good deeds done by him, and I always hope, he should be rewarded befittingly, by the Glorious Lord who created the Heavens and Earth.
