Trinity Theological College confers degrees to 89 students

Dimapur: Trinity Theological College (TTC), Thahekhu, Dimapur, held its 29th graduation service on April 27. A total of 89 students graduated, including 81 with Bachelor of Divinity (BD) and 8 with Master of Theology (M.Th.) in the Department of Old Testament and Primal Religion. Proficiency awards were presented by principal Rev. Dr. Hukato Shohe, Academic Dean Dr. Shelly Swu, and Dean of Higher Studies Dr. Vikato Achumi.
Delivering the keynote address on the theme “Theological Knowledge: Not for Display but for Transformation,” Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) general secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, urged graduates to apply their learning in practical ways for personal and community renewal. Drawing from biblical texts, he emphasized humility in ministry, quoting Karl Barth: “Theology is not done on one’s feet, but on one’s knees,” highlighting the role of prayer and humility in service.
Graduating representatives Manglang Phom (M.Th.) and Tusovelu Sapuh (BD) shared reflections on their academic journey, reaffirming their commitment to transformative ministry.
