In partial modification to the previous order, Dr Z Kheshito Zhimo, medical superintendent of COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur, has informed that as per the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the home department regarding guidelines to be followed by government servants on reaching the district sample collection centres, the employees would be tested using TrueNat free cost, whereas for others the charge would be Rs 1,500.
He further informed that, if tested negative, the government employee could proceed to his or her place of work by following all safety norms/standard operating procedure.
However, if the employee tested positive, he or she would be placed at an appropriate COVID facility and due protocol would be followed. This was stated in a release.
