Trump warns he will hit Iran harder

DORAL (US)/DUBAI, MAR 7 (AP/AGENCIES):

US President Donald Trump warned in a social media post on Saturday that more Iranian officials would become targets in the war, writing: “Today Iran will be hit very hard!”
Trump made the comments on his Truth Social website, noting an apology by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to neighbouring nations over Tehran’s attacks. “Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behaviour, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time,” Trump wrote, without elaborating.
Iran’s president apologised for attacks on regional countries even as its missiles and drones flew toward Gulf Arab states, indicating that Tehran’s political leadership could not exercise full command over Iran’s armed forces. Pezeshkian kept up his criticism of Trump’s call for Iran to unconditionally surrender to America.
“That’s a dream that they should take to their grave,” he said.
Iran destroys $300-million US THAAD radar system: Iran has destroyed a key Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) radar system used by the US to detect and intercept ballistic missiles in the Middle East, dealing a major blow to Washington’s missile defence network, Bloomberg reported.
The radar, estimated to cost around USD 300 million, helps guide interceptor missiles.
