Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board meeting held

Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting on October 26 unanimously recommended the registration of a society and upgradation of a Primary Health Centre (PHC) among other issues.


According to a DIPR report, the meeting was held at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tseminyu Office under the chairmanship of Tseminyu DPDB chairman, Ar. Jwenga Seb, MLA.


The house reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and recommend the registration of the Tseminyu District Chess Association as a society. The house also recommended the upgradation of PHC Chunlikha to a Community Health Centre (CHC), acknowledging the healthcare needs of the district.


The meeting also discussed the allocation of land for the construction of a Civil Society Organization (CSO) Central Building Complex in Tseminyu Town. This proposal was submitted by Rengma Hoho, and the acquisition of land for this purpose was recommended for approval. Earlier, the newly appointed DC Tseminyu, Rohit Singh was warmly welcomed by the DPDB members.
