Tseminyu DPDB cum DWSM meeting held

As part of Jal Mahotsav, the Tseminyu DPDB meeting cum DWSM meet was held on March 17, at DC’s Conference Hall, Tseminyu. Deputy Commissioner (DC)Tseminyu, Japheth Woch, welcomed all members present and reviewed the last meeting minutes.
A DIPR report stated that discussing on the status of fuel in the district, the DC informed that there is no shortage of fuel in the district. While deliberating on the LPG, he informed that the district has two gas agencies and reminded that all booking must be done through online. Briefing on Nagaland Olympics and Paralympics Game 2026, he urged the members to come forward with free-will contribution and financial support to promote sports in the district.
Keynote address on Jal Mahotsav was delivered by the executive engineer and members secretary DWSM, Er. Kedolhuto Punyu. Meanwhile, a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the activities of Jal Mahotsav, Jal Arpan Diwas, Jal Seva Aankahan and Jan Bhagidari was presented by the district coordinator, Ashale Seb. Later after the program, the DC & Chairman DWSM, Japheth Woch handed over a waste collection truck to Tesophenyu and Kandinu villages.
