Tsg DPDB discuss developmental issues

Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on August 6 at the deputy commissioner (DC) conference hall under the chairmanship of parliamentary secretary of Municipal Affairs, Economics & Statistic, R. Tohanba & DC and vice chairman of DPDB Tuensang, Alem Jongshi.
Parliamentary secretary, DB’s & GB’S Affairs, Kejong Chang urged all the HOD under Tuensang district to attend DPDB monthly meeting with sincerity & full commitment in the greater interest & growth of Tuensang district.
The house discussed the finalisation of LADP 2016-17 schemes under Tuensang district.The board also discussed the proposal put forward by the Chare Area Students Union for the construction of boys’ dormitory.
The meeting also recommended for the renewal and registration of Societies of Sunrise Rural Welfare Society Shamator Town, Dophun Cultural Society Shamator and Regional Rural Development Agency (RRDA) Shamator.
The grant in aid to Kihoto Theological college Yakor was also recommended. The meeting also saw the release of rural development activities magazine pertaining to rural development block Noksen.
During the course of the meeting new members of the DPDB were introduced, the director of Municipal Affairs A. Zanbemo Ngullie, highlight the new full fledged Municipal Affairs Department & various activities undertaken by the very department.
Further more, Tohanba encouraged all HOD to present power point presentation of its respective department during the monthly DPDB meeting so that other department & members of DPDB would be kept updated of various development under Tuensang district.
