Tsiepama landowners asked to collect compensation

Dimapur Deputy Commissioner, Sushil Kumar Patel has informed landowners and beneficiaries of Tsiepama village affected by the new broad gauge railway under Dimapur district to collect their compensation from the office of the Deputy Commissioner on June 12 from 10 a.m onwards.  
According to a press release, head GBs and members of the concerned village councils have also been instructed to be present for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of cheques, failing which, payment will be withheld. 
The affected landowners are informed to come in person and bring along identity proof, bank passbook, and 5 copies of passport photos.  
Payments to representatives other than the affected landowners or beneficiaries shall not be entertained, the release added.
