
Tsiituonuomia Students’ Union (TSU), Kohima village celebrated its night tuition centre silver jubilee under the theme “treading the right path of better education”, at T. Khel indoor stadium on Tuesday. As part of its celebration, the union will also be organizing various activities during the year.
Treasurer T.Khel Gazetted officers’ association Neituolie Phewhuo in his address urged the students of their duties and responsibilities by respecting and honouring their parents when they are still alive. He cautioned the young minds to keep away from bad habits and love of money that will destroy their lives and society.
He also suggested more playgrounds so that children by involving in sporting activities maintain healthy lifestyle. He further lauded the effort of the pioneers of the night tuition centre which has provided opportunity to many students to study and perform well.
Convenor organizing committee Kevisevolie Solo in his jubilee greetings said the students’ union effort has reached another milestone in the field of education development.
He said the organizing committee and TSU along with various committees have unanimously decided to chalk out jubilee plans and actions with various activities that would culminate in the month of December this year. For which, he sought the cooperation to make the jubilee a meaningful and fruitful celebration.
Chairman T.Khel council Thepfuvilie Suohu, Dzieseneituo Belho, heah teacher GMS T.Khel Teisovinuo Solo, SMC, GMS T.Khel Zhakuo Whuorie and Keviyie Belho (tuition students) also addressed the gathering.
T.Khel frontal organizations presidents released the TSU night tuition centre silver jubilee plans and actions to be carried during the eight months long celebration.
The programme was chaired by member organizing committee Kevisenyii Zatsu, invocation prayer by pastor Flames of fire Baptist church Kohima Ruokuolhoulie Solo, special song were presented by Vireizhiinuo Solo and Vidisenuo Belho, night tuition activity reports was presented by social & cultural secy. TSU & incharge NT centre Neizovolie Solo while vote of thanks was said by president TSU Vikuonyii Solo.
