The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has commended the Department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of Nagaland, for conducting a fair and disciplined Forest Guard recruitment process across the state.
In a press release, TSUD acknowledged the department’s commitment to a merit-based and impartial selection system, citing professionalism in procedures ranging from registration to physical verification. The union emphasized that such transparency upholds equal opportunity and strengthens public trust.
TSUD urged the department to maintain full transparency in the declaration of final results and ensure that mechanisms for redressal and verification remain accessible. The union also reiterated its zero tolerance for backdoor appointments, nepotism or political interference, warning that such practices undermine the morale of genuine candidates and erode institutional integrity.
Calling for collective vigilance, TSUD appealed to civil society, organizations, and authorities to safeguard ethical recruitment standards. The union reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for fairness, justice, and youth empowerment in all governance processes.
