TSUD supports foothill roads construction

Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has extended its support for the ongoing construction of foothill roads (Trans Naga Expressway) and called for the expedition of the project.

In a press release issued by TSUD president, Rukewezo Wetsah and finance secretary, Asin Rengma has expressed that the road is of paramount importance to every Nagas irrespective of tribes or region and believed that it will boost the economy. Apart from shortening the time of travel amongst various Naga regions, TSUD said that it will facilitate the movement of goods and services and people within the state which is vital for its social, economic and growth of connectivity.
TSUD has appealed to all the legislators to extend support as it is for the betterment of everyone. The union further extended its appreciation to the NFHRCC for zealously pursuing the issue.
