TSUL cleanliness campaign in Longleng

DIMAPUR: Tangha Students’ Union, Longleng Unit (TSUL) organised a voluntary cleanliness campaign on the theme “Our Town, Our Responsibility” on June 13, covering the stretch from Lampong junction to Hukphang junction, Longleng.
According to a DIPR report, TSUL members actively participated in cleaning roadside drains, collecting waste and maintaining public areas. The campaign also sought to create awareness among the public on the importance of cleanliness and a healthy environment. TSUL stated that keeping Longleng clean was not the duty of a few but a collective responsibility of every citizen. It appealed to all residents to contribute towards keeping the town clean and beautiful, reminding that it was everyone’s responsibility.
