Tsütuonuomia Khel, Kohima village will be observing its annual Khel Day on October 25 at 1pm at Mission Compound.
October 25 is a significant day in the history of the Khel as it commemorates the battle of 1879 and the subsequent Peace Treaty make between Tsütuonuomia Khel and the British.
According to Khotuo Kevin Solo, member publicity committee, T. Khel Day, the day will be marked with high spirits of cultural extravaganza, music and celebration.
The Khel has extended invitation to all its members and a special invitation to all its ‘sisters’ married to the other communities and all well-wishers.
Kohima village council, chairman, Dr. Neiphi Kire will grace the occasion as special guest and ex-chairman, T. Khel council, Viliethie Solo will grace the T. Khel Nite, scheduled to be held in the evening at 5 pm as guest of honour.
