TTC, ELC organise ‘Clean Tuensang campaign’

To engage students in voter education, Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) “Clean Tuensang Campaign” was organised by Tuensang Town Council and the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) at Astro-Turf Ground Zero Point, Tuensang.


According to a DIPR report, at the programme, Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO) Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa thanked the participating students and encouraged them to enroll in the electoral roll once they reach the age of 18.

She emphasized the importance of the Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) and urged responsible citizenship through cleanliness. The programme included speeches by various participants and concluded with a town cleaning activity carried out by students from different schools.
