Tsükoto Tokukujo Kuposhukulu Dimapur (TTKD) has condemned the “physical assault, illegal armed intrusion and criminally intimidating” the innocent minor children of Mughavi N Zhimomi (bona fide member of TTKD) by the armed miscreants at his private residence Thilixu village Dimapur on September 19.
In a press release, TTKD general secretary Hoshumu L Awomi and finance secretary Inato X Yeptho stated that Nagas were at a very crucial period to bring an end to the protracted political issue, adding that every Naga, young and old, was yearning for peaceful co-existence “during this determining period of vexed Naga political issue”. However, it said that the “wanton action” of armed miscreants criminally trespassing the private dwelling place and “causing havoc and instilling fear in innocent minor children was “unbecoming and unfathomable.”
Strongly condemning the action of the armed miscreants, TTKD has urged the law enforcing agencies to bring the perpetrators to book and take actions as per the law at the earliest and deliver justice.
