Tobu Town Students Union (TTSU) conducted surprise checking in all government office establishments under Tobu headquarters.
A press release by Tobu president Shillen Jacob and general secretary LN Pangting claimed that during the inspection it was found that most of the HoDs and ministerial staff posted at Tobu were absent and in some departments there were not even a single day attendance throughout the year.
In this regard, the union has directed all government officers and staff posted at Tobu Hq to be regular in performing their duties diligently as desired by the public. The union further warned that it will be compelled to lock the office if same negligence was repeated starting from January 2020.
