TUD urges state govt to settle NIDA issue

Expressing concern over the ongoing Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Association (NIDA) and state government stalemate, Tenyimia Union Dimapur (TUD) has appealed to the state government to arrive to a settlement at the earliest.
In a press release, Tenyimia Union Dimapur president Vekhosayi Nyekha stated that Tenyimia Union Dimapur was aware of the commitment made by the prime minister and the assurance given by the state government to settle the matter within a year’s time which was prolonged till date.
Pointing out that most of the states have implemented the centre’s directive, Tenyimia Union Dimapur stated that Nagaland “has failed to come to logical conclusion”, making the innocent patients suffer the consequences.
