Tuensang district BS&G organises painting competition

Tuensang District Bharat Scouts & Guides marked World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, under the theme “Plastic-Free”, by organising a painting competition at Changsao Thagjam Hall, Tuensang.
The event featured participants from Bethesda School BSG, Saramatian Open Troop, and Newhand Open Troop, Tuensang. The programme was led by Mongla, Assistant Organizing Commissioner (G), with an invocation by Yimtokiu, SM, Bethesda School.
Speakers included NASA Yanchu, District Training Commissioner (DTC-S), and P. Chuba, Assistant District Trainer (ADT), who spoke on reducing plastic waste, promoting reuse and recycling, and finding alternatives to single-use plastic.
Former scout Luntsuba assisted in organizing the painting competition and presented certificates to participants.
