Tuensang, Kiphire hold DPDB meetings

DIMAPUR: District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), Tuensang and Kiphire held their monthly meetings on July 15, 2026, reviewing developmental issues and approving schemes under LADP 2026 27.
In Tuensang, the meeting was chaired by MLA and DPDB chairman Imtichoba, co chaired by DC Tuensang Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, at the DC’s Conference Hall. After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the board discussed the deplorable condition of NH 202 and the Tuensang–Longleng Road, directing the concerned department to address the matter at the earliest. The house also approved LADP schemes for 51 Noksen A/C, 52 Longkhim Chare A/C, 53 Tuensang Sadar I A/C, and 54 Tuensang Sadar II A/C.
Exhorting members, the chairman appealed to HoDs to discharge their duties with sincerity for the upliftment of the district. The board further discussed work distribution for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration and resolved to organise a mass social work on August 1, 2026. The DC informed members to submit names of employees for District Commendation Awards by July 30. A departmental presentation was delivered by E.E., PWD (R&B) Tuensang.
In Kiphire, the meeting was held at the DC’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of DC Temsuwati Longkumer. Welcoming members, the chairman reviewed the previous meeting minutes. Deliberating on the agenda for registration of META NOYA Society, Kiphire, the house decided to recommend the proposal to higher authority for consideration. The board also approved schemes and projects under LADP 2026 27, and finalised work distribution for the Independence Day celebration.
