Tunesang DTF reviews unlock 4 guidelines

Tuensang District Task Force (DTF) for COVID-19 held a meeting in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner (DC) on August 3. The meeting was chaired by DC and chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.

According to a DIPR report, the DC lauded the achievement of HoDs on intensive vaccination drive in the district and asked tribal leaders to encourage citizens to get vaccinated.
The members reviewed the unlock 4 for the district. The increasing positivity rate of the district within this week was also a concern discussed in the meeting. Addendum for reopening of schools was also reviewed and decided that respective education officers of the town and sub-divisions carry out spot verification of the schools as per the SOP check list and certify for reopening of the schools.
Closure of the government polytechnic, Sedem CCC on account of reopening of the institution was also discussed and earmarked August 11 for closure at the meantime new CCC would be established at district hospital Tuensang. The house also discussed on enhancing COVID-19 vaccination and testing in the district.
