A graduation-cum-parents meet was organized by Trgu Vocational Training Centre (TVTC) Dimapur on February 24.
At the programme, TVTC proprietor Tainla Jamir spoke on the need to realize and built the inherent potential in each of them to be a good professional.
Jamir appreciated the TGRU Centre co-staff on giving such quality training to the youths. She also spoke on the present scenario of employment and urged the trainees to take the training seriously and to stand on their own feet. TVTC coordinator/instructor Akhrienuo Kire congratulated the successful candidates and spoke about the courses offered in the domain of cutting & tailoring, fashion designing of industrial sewing machine operator, hobby course, food processing to poorer women specially widows, drop-outs students, housewives, and unemployed youth, providing basic skills to empower them to earn their livelihood through self employment.
Parents of trainee shared some concerns such as the need for career guidance for the young based on their skill and interest.
