Dimapur police manning Chumukedima Check Gate intercepted an unregistered car (Alto K10) and arrested two persons with liquor on February 11 at around 1330 hrs.
Dimapur police recovered 328 nos of Budweiser can beer and 124 nos of Foster Can beer from their possession. The two arrested persons were identified as Vikuto Sema (29), son of Lt. Shiyeto of Signal Bosti near Daily Bazar, Dimapur, and Hussain Ahmed (26), son of Gulam Rasul of Dakshin village and presently residing at Signal Bosti near Daily Bazar, Dimapur.
Additional Superintendent of Police and PRO said case has been registered against the two arrested persons and further investigation is on.
