Nagaland: Two-day ‘Food and Music Festival’ on November 24-25

A “Food and Music Festival” is set to take place on November 24 and 25 at Kisama, spanning into a two-day celebration. Imgi.Nation’s Managing Director, Elivino Seleyi during a press briefing held at Ura Hotel, Raj Bhavan Road on November 20, highlighted that the event would be first of its kind which will feature a live music festival, food stalls, a Kids Carnival, Art installations, a book corner, a photobooth, a lovers’ lock, and various other attractions would be included and is scheduled to start at 10 am – 10 pm. Seleyi also invited all the citizens to be part of the event with a nominal entry fee of Rs. 50.


The commencement of the programme is scheduled for November 24 at 1 am with local artistes spanning various genres would present live performances and food stalls representing specific tribes such as Ao, Angami, Lotha Sema and Chakesang will offer their authentic dishes.


The event is being organised by the Tourism Department with imagi. NATION serving as the event management agency.


Present at the press conference were Deputy Director of Tourism, Toka, Imgi.Nation Business Coordinator, Kezha, and HR representative Chiset Zeliang.
