Mon District NSRLM 2-day training for new Bank Sakhi and refresher course for present and Bank Sakhi and Block AC-F.I’s was conducted on September 28 and 29 at Mon, DRDA Conference Hall.
A press release by DC-FI NSRLM, DMMU, Mon Rukusuto Ltu stated that Wenyei Konyak (NCS) Project Director Cum DMM and APO Mon DRDA who delivered the key note address on the 1st day of the training, expressed his concern for NSRLM SHGs and encouraged Bank Sakhi to take responsible role between the banker and the SHG members to fulfil the SHG members in financial inclusion. He also encourage Bank Sakhi’s to take part in the BLBC meeting and share the progress report of Financial inclusion and channelize between the Bank and Blocks.
He also congratulated the new Bank Sakhi and wished them success. Rukusuto Ltu District Co-ordinator -F.I also participated as a resource person. LDM of Mon district Yanthan and asst. manager of NStCB Meren on second day of the B.S training and shared their banking experience.
A brief note on present banking scenario, few rounds of questions and answer were discussed by participants and the bankers.
