Two-day Unifest 5.0 concludes

Unity College Dimapur hosted its two-day youth festival “Unifest 5.0” on March 13 and 14, bringing together students to showcase creativity, talent and leadership through a variety of competitions and cultural activities.
Delivering the keynote address, Principal Dr Lichumo Enie described Unifest as a celebration of youth and a platform for nurturing holistic development. He encouraged students to move beyond competition and embrace leadership, creativity and resilience, adding that such platforms could serve as stepping stones for future opportunities in the skill and creative sectors.
The festival featured competitions such as extempore, poetry slam, cosplay, photography exhibition, creative writing, fitness challenge, Unity Voice Hunt, indigenous food cooking, art competition, food challenge, Unity Dancing Star and the Unifest Mega Model contest. Food stalls, games and creative craft displays added to the vibrant festive atmosphere.
The event also witnessed guest performances by Abdon Mech, Elizabeth Khing, Kekhrie Thepa, Sentiein Kichu, Shau Evans and DJ Nick Leo, drawing enthusiastic participation from the audience.
The two-day festival concluded with a prize and certificate distribution ceremony, with organisers describing Unifest 5.0 as a successful celebration of creativity, teamwork and youth empowerment.
