Two-day workshop on peace building was organised by Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) from July 27 to 28 at Clark Theological College (CTC).
A press note by CCPRA programme coordinator, Imtiwala Imchen, stated the workshop implemented peace education through the stories of conflict zones from different parts of the world. The participants were also introduced to variety of peace educational methods applied in the workshop through the reading and interpretation of posters, documentary movies, engaging in group discussion and football match.
The resource persons for the workshop were Dr. Leban Serto director, Centre for Peace Education Manipur and Technical Consultant, Caritas, India, Mhonyamo Peace Counts, Wokha, Rev. Dr. Dhanbir Rai lecturer, CTC and Toshi Aier lecturer, CTC, who were all formerly trained under Berghof Foundation TOT programme.
The workshop was attended by the BD final year students consisting of 58 members. CTC, principal Rev Dr. Marnungsang gave away the certificates to all the participants to mark the successful completion of the workshop.
