Two incidents of fire in Dimapur

Two incidents of fire were reported in Dimapur on April 1. No casualties were reported in both the incidents. According to fire brigade (central) officials, the fire broke out at around 7 pm, at Chunjaizeang colony, Burma camp, where two bamboo structures were partially burnt.


Properties damaged was yet to be ascertained. Earlier, a tyre shop at Khermahal, Dimapur was gutted in the fire which broke out in wee hours on Monday.


Four fire engines – two from central and two from west fire station were deployed to douse the fire.
The cause of the incident was suspected to be short circuit and the properties damaged was yet to be ascertained.
