Two Naga students win at ‘Kala Utsav’

Two students from Nagaland, Lijempong from YajenAier Government High School, Mopungchuket and N. Nyemjun Konyak from Government Higher Secondary School, Diphupar-A, bagged the position of first runners up in vocal music traditional folk (male) category and indigenous toys & games (male) category respectively during the “Kala Utsav National Level Competition 2022-23”, which was organised in Bhubaneswar from January 3 to 7.
Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education through “Samagra Shiksha” to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage in the country.
Altogether 15 students from Nagaland (State level winners) participated and competed in different categories.
The Students were accompanied by two teacher-guides Nzanbeni Lotha from GHSS Diphupar-A and N Sentimeren from GHS Mopungchuket.
