Tenyiphe Youth Organization (TYO) has condemned the abduction of minor child by Md. Abdul Salam, Habijaj Begum and Md. Abdul Bari and further expelled the perpetrators and their children from Tenyiphe village jurisdiction on June 19.
A press release from Tenyiphe Youth Organisation (TYO) president, Rokosielie Viyie and vice president, Mhasileto Medoze stated that, on ground violation of the customary law of the village, TYO with the consent of Tenyiphe Village Council expelled the alleged abductors, who were temporary residents in the village along with their children.
TYO cautioned that, henceforth if anyone of them is/are seen in the village or any person found sheltering the accused within the village jurisdiction, then TYO will take its own course of action as per the law of the land against the defaulter.
TYO further lauded the Dimapur Police and its TYO members for assisting in nabbing the abductors and timely rescue of the child.
