Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) has condemned what it described as “repeated acts of burglary” committed by Kekietuo Solo of T. Khel Kohima village.
In a condemnation note, TYO president Vibeituo Belho and general secretary Kikrusetuo Sekhose said that such actions stood in direct violation of the moral and ethical values that the society has upheld across generations—values of trust, respect, and honour. The youth body stated that such behaviour was not only a criminal offense under the law, but a betrayal of the very fabric of kinship and communal harmony.
“It brings shame upon our shared name and causes pain and distress to the affected stakeholders and community at large,” TYO said.
Meanwhile, TYO has expressed gratitude to the officer in-charge of North police station and SIT team under the Nagaland police department for their “swift and effective response.” It also acknowledged and appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and courage demonstrated by police team. “Your commitment to justice and community welfare is truly commendable,” TYO stated.
In this regard, TYO has urged the appropriate authorities to pursue justice swiftly. TYO also affirmed its commitment to assist the authority and restoring a sense of security within the society.
“Let it be known that we do not condone or protect any wrongdoing,” TYO said and stressed that accountability must prevail, even when difficult, for the sake of truth and integrity.
