Two-day 8th annual conference of the United Baptist Churches Association North East India (UBCA-NEI) concluded this afternoon at Youth Oasis Centre, Eralibill. Speaker Rev. Dr. Jolly Rimai, Mission Secretary of Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI) addressed the congregation with an enlightening message.
Speaking on the theme of the conference, “Embracing the eternity”, Rev. Dr. Jolly Rimai reminded the believers that their citizenship is in heaven which every believer should earn and take it by living a life worthy of God’s calling. Rev. Jolly also stressed on the unity of the church. Advisor, UBCA-NEI Rev. Y.T. Lotha delivered exhortation speech at the conference.
UBC Kohima, UBC Thandapani, Assam, UBC Gautam Basti and UBCA-NEI team presented songs of praise and worship. UBCA-NEI departmental reports were also presented during business hour.
Women Secretary, UBCA-NEI Vitoli Yeptho proposed words of acknowledgement at the conclusion of the conference.
On behalf of the association, she thanked CBCNEI for its support and Rev. Dr. Jolly Rimai for gracing the conference as speaker. She also thanked the management of Youth Oasis Centre for letting out the centre to the association.
Delegates from United Baptist Churches across Nagaland and Assam attended the conference.
