UGN/NNC (PB) merges with GPRN/NSCN (NU)

DIMAPUR

UGN/NNC (Parent Body), led by its president Kiutsangkhiung Yimkhiung along with all national workers, has formally merged with the GPRN/NSCN (Naga Unification) under the leadership of president ‘gen.’ (Retd.) M.B. Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh.
The merger agreement was signed on September 1, 2025, declaring the “complete and unconditional merger” of UGN/NNC (PB) into the fold of GPRN/NSCN (Naga Unification).
According to the agreement, UGN/NNC (PB) led by its president, Kiutsangkhiung Yimkhiung unanimously resolved to dissolve itself as a separate entity and fully amalgamate with GPRN/NSCN (NU).
The agreement further stated that the entire leadership and national workers of UGN/NNC (PB) have pledged “unwavering loyalty, support and cooperation” to the collective leadership of president ‘gen.’ (Retd.) M.B. Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh, in pursuit of the common Naga cause.
It also endorsed the visionary leadership of the GPRN/NSCN (NU) leaders to carry forward the aspiration for reconciliation, unity, and an early, honourable and acceptable resolution to the long-standing Naga political issue.
Signatories to the merger agreement included UGN/NNC (PB) president, Kiutsangkhiung Yimkhiung, and Kilo kilonser, Kakuto Assumi, while ato kilonser, Alezo Venuh, and NTH speaker, Ritsa Sangtam, signed on behalf of GPRN/NSCN (Unification).
