Counting of the votes for the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) polls were conducted peacefully across the state except for Eastern Nagaland, on Saturday. Following are the district wise results that was declared after culmination of the vote counting.
Tseminyu: Tseminyu Town Council election result was declared at the office chamber, ADC & ARO, Tseminyu, Longasen Lotha. The Returning Officer also gave away winning certificates to the winning Candidates. Ward no. 1. Senyile Woch, NDPP. Ward no. 2. Kegwalo Magh, JDU. Ward no. 3. Sole Tep, IND. Ward no. 4. Meluri: Under the ULB election to 9 wards of Meleri Town Council 2024, four candidates representing ward number 1 to 4 were declared uncontested earlier, while five candidates were declared winners after the election counting took place at the office chamber of the Returning Officer. Meluri. The wines were, Ward no. 1. (women reserved) ThsüvilaNyuthe (IND), Ward no. 2. SütsüthoNyusou (NDPP), Ward no. 3. Porüthongouri (NDPP), Ward no. 4. Bhandari: Result for the ULB Election to the Town Council Bhandari was declared at the District Economics and Statistical Office, Wokha in the presence of the Observer and Jt. Secretary School Education, Avelu and Additional Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer for ULB Election to the Town Council Bhandari, Longdiba L. Sangtam,.
Counting was held for 7 wards that had polled while 2 candidates KhonthungiaOdyuo from Ward 2 and RenbiloHumtsoe, from Ward 7, both from NPF were declared unopposed earlier.
Nzanrhoni I. Mozhui of BJP from Ethung Ward; KhosathungTsopoe of NPF from Chanka Ward; Chonchibeni O. Kikon, IND, from Zuvotong Ward; Mhonchan of NPF from Likhya Ward; B. Elan Odyuo, of NPF from Hayi Ward; T. Likao of NPF from Tsumang Ward and Yanrenthung E. Patton of JDU from Medical Ward were the successful candidates for ULB election to Bhandari.

Twenty-two (22) year old Nzanrhoni I. Mozhui, who contested on BJP ticket from women reserved Ethung Ward, emerged as the youngest ULB elected member in the entire state of Nagaland. The elected members will represent the 9 wards of Bhandari as first team of the Bhandari town council members.
Zunheboto: Counting for 4 urban town council elections under Zunheboto district concluded on Saturday. Zunheboto Town Council has 13 Wards, NDPP won 9 (Nine) while independent candidates won 4 seats.
Satakha Town Council has 9 (Nine) wards, where the NDPP won 6 seats, LJP won 2 (two) seats and One independent candidate. Aghunato Town Council has 9 wards. The NDPP won 6 seats and independent candidate won 3 (three) seats. Atoizu Town Council has a total of 9 wards. NCP won 4 (four) seats, BJP won 2 (two) seats, NDPP won I (one) seat and independent candidates won 2 (two) seats.
Niuland: Counting of votes was held at DC’s conference hall, Niuland, the counting was held for 6 Wards out of 9 Wards, while 3 wards were declared uncontested earlier. All together 14 candidates contested in 6 wards, where BJP candidates won in 6 wards and IND in 3 wards.

Phek: Counting for the ULB election to the Phek Town Council concluded peacefully at DC’s conference hall, Phek has 11 (eleven) wards where four wards were reserved for women. Ward-1, Wetsole Rhako of NPF party; Ward- 2. Wokha: Counting of postal ballots for the 11 wards under Wokha Town Council was held at DESO Wokha. Earlier, 4 (four) candidates were declared unopposed. After counting the following were declared elected, Lidemo Murry NDPP; Myingthung Kikon, NCP; Santsuthung, NCP; Nzanbeni Humtsoe, NDPP; Khozamo, NDPP; Zuthungbemo Ezung, NDPP; Thunjano Kikon, NDPP; Mhao Ngullie, NCP; Chonthungo, BJP; Hapenthung Ezung, NDPP; Party wise result including the unopposed winner- 7 from NDPP, 5 from NCP and 3 from BJP.
Medziphema: Results of candidates who won under Medziphema Town Council were, Ward. No 1 – Neisaleno Khro (NDPP), Ward No.2- Thangminlen Singit (NDPP), Ward No.3- Mhasilevi Kuotsu (IND), Ward No. 4- Khelenge (NDPP), Ward No. 5 – Asazo Talie (NDPP) Ward No. 6- Shikhuli Zhimomi (INC), Ward No. 8 – Abel Thepa (NDPP), Ward No. 9 – Vikehiepie Siria (NDPP)
Pfutsero: Counting of ULB elections was held at ADC office, Dobashi court, Pfutsero. The candidates who are declared winners were, NuvotsoluKotso IND. ward 1, Vekhosa Puro IND. Ward 2, Mikha Kenye IND. Ward 3, 4. Kwazü Dukru NDPP(Uncontest) Ward 4 VekhosaRuho IND. Ward-5, Kadielhi Mero NDPP. Ward-6, Thungchanbeni IND.Ward-7, NuvezoKotso NDPP Ward-8, 9. Savizo IND.Ward-9, Kum Wechu-u Kapfo IND. Ward 10 Neikolo Mero IND. Ward 11. Total wards 11, Independent – 7 and NDPP – 4.
Mokokchung: The ULB polls result for Mangkolemba Town Council, Tuli Town Council and Changtongya Town Council were declared on Saturday.
At Mangkolemba out of 9 wards NDPP won in 4 wards, IND in 4 wards and INC won in 1 ward. At Changtongya out of 11 wards NDPP won in 7 wards and IND won in 4 wards.
At Tuli out of 9 wards NDPP won in 2 wards. BJP in 3 wards, INC in 3 wards and IND won in 1 ward. For Changtongya Town Council, NDPP secured 5 seats while Independent secured 4 seats.
Peren: The certificates of election were formally handed over to the elected candidates by the respective ADC & RO Peren in the presence of Election Observers.
