National People’s Party (NPP) said the triumphant results in the recently concluded Urban Local Body (ULB) elections has reaffirmed the party commitment to state growth and prosperity, ensuring that the development initiatives spearheaded by its leaders and members lead to sustainable benefits for everyone.
In a press release NPP national general secretary, James PK Sangma said the party’s candidates secured victories in several wards across Dimapur and Kohima municipal councils, underscoring the trust and support the party enjoys among the electorates.
He claimed that the victories reflected the populace’s faith in NPP’s vision for a prosperous and resilient Nagaland. Sangma said the party also recognized the valiant efforts of its candidates who could not win, and the outcomes have been viewed not as setbacks but as stepping stones toward future achievements.
Meanwhile, the party extended gratitude to all its members, including MLAs, state executives, mahila, youth wing, and minority cells for their tireless instrumental efforts in the electoral success.
