Sara clan members have served a 15-day ultimatum on the principal director, school education, over the appointment of chowkidar at Zuketsa government high school, under Pfutsero sub-division, Phek.
The decision to serve ultimatum was taken at an emergency meeting of the Sara clan members on July 23, 2017.
In the letter signed on behalf of the clan members, Chikha Sara, Medolhou Sara, Visatso Sara, David Sara, Neikolo Sara, Zuwelhi Sara and Krowelhou Sara stated that failure to revoke the appointment order by the department would compel the land owners to take the matter into their own hands for which the department would hold the responsible for any consequences.
The signatories stated that appointed person did not fulfil the required criteria or endorsement by the appointing authority from among the landowners.
